Weekender Ride Simcoe schedule

A Saturday and Sunday of riding and fun. There’s nothing like a great weekend of riding.

Saturday

Arrive early and get ready!

Start/Parking is at:
Simcoe County Museum

7:15-8:15AM Pre-ride check-in

We will have a table set up in the lot for “drive-thru” package pick up, including breakfast bag.

8:00-8:45AM Departure from Simcoe County Agricultural Museum*

Roll out in small groups or solo with GPS. (social distancing measures)
Guides will leave as follows:

172Km: This is our longest option. Shortcuts available along the way.
* If you would like to get a head start on the group, you can depart as early as 7:45 (no earlier than that if you want to hit the checkpoints!)
We do not expect guides to go on this LONG distance route. Have the route loaded if you plan to go this long.

155 km: This is the ride we suggest for most riders (with shortcut options) depart for
8:20-8:30am: we expect most riders and guides to depart at this time. Steady and Swift pace groups will be decided as riders collect in the departing lot!
(Optional shortcut to make it 133km offered along the way)

116Km: this is our late riders option, and shortest ride.
8:30-8:40am depart with a guides.

2:45-5:45PM Arrival at host hotel (Quality Inn Midland)

Overnight bag pick-up, optional bike wash and service along with goodie bag pick-up at finish.

8:15-10am Departure

(guide departure times can be manipulated through begging/bribing guides on day 1) Note: You can leave early if you plan to NOT use a guide, want to go slow, and have the route on your GPS. (If you want to leave early AND go fast we might not be ready for you at the checkpoints.)

163 km:
8:15am Ride guide depart LONG AND SLOW ONLY From Quality INN

128km-163Km:
8:30am Ride guides depart together with riders and we split up the groups as we go.
Departing from Quality Inn.

77Km:
11:15am Departing from CP#1 (lakeside picnic tables downtown. coffee and doughnuts available)
